HOW MUCH DO I CHARGE?
It depends on your tax complexity. I'd be happy to provide you a tax quote after a brief tax interview. Give me a call or click on blue Calendly button (lower right) to schedule a Zoom video call. Here are some sample of my prices.
There are many Tax Specialists out there, why would you consider my service?
1. I provide a tax quote so there won't be any surprises when you receive your invoice. Sole proprietors and rental owners will be able to claim my fee as an expense.
2. My fee generally includes a 30-minute assistance if you are assessed by CRA (Canada Revenue Agency).
3. I will gladly refer you to others if what you need is not withing my scope of knowledge. I have a network of other professionals.
TIPS BEFORE YOU FILE YOUR TAX RETURN
1. If you plan to file taxes yourself, start gathering documents. This may be the task that took the longest time. But, when all documents are collected, it may not take you that long to finish your taxes. It is easier to do all the data entry in one sitting rather than to re-visit your tax return multiple times.
2. If you would prefer someone else to do your taxes for you, decide if you would like to request help from a free tax clinic or pay a tax professional. Whichever one you decide, book an appointment now while they still have openings. Due to Canada Revenue Agency's tax updates, some tax professionals are already at capacity and are very selective in accepting new clients.
